Jurassic World: Rebirth Builds Awards Momentum with BAFTA Longlist and Oscars Shortlist

Jurassic World: Rebirth continues to gain serious awards season traction, earning a place on the BAFTA Special Visual Effects longlist while also securing a spot on the Oscars Visual Effects shortlist at the Academy Awards.

Recognition from both BAFTA and the Academy highlights the film’s technical ambition and the scale of craftsmanship behind its visual effects work. Making the BAFTA longlist signals strong support within the UK industry, while progressing to the Oscars shortlist places Rebirth among a small group of films still in contention for a final Academy Award nomination a major milestone in an exceptionally competitive year.

We’re incredibly proud to have contributed to Jurassic World: Rebirth and to see the work recognised at this level. Projects of this scale rely on deep collaboration across studios, departments, and disciplines, and it’s hugely rewarding to see that collective effort acknowledged by both BAFTA and the Academy.

Huge congratulations to everyone involved across production and VFX, an outstanding achievement and a testament to the talent, dedication, and teamwork behind the film. Wishing the whole team the very best of luck as the awards season continues… fingers crossed
