ANDOR Nomination for Visual Effects at the RTS Craft & Design Awards 2025

Andor Season 2 has been nominated for the Royal Television Society Award for Effects VFX, following on from its recent Emmy win in the same field. The nomination credits the work led by Mohen Leo and TJ Falls, whose direction shaped the visual approach across the season.

The shortlist for this year’s category includes:

• Daniel Rauchwerger, Raphael Hamm, Ian Fellows & Paul Bongiovanni Silo (Season 2), AMC Studios in association with Apple for Apple TV

• Mohen Leo & TJ Falls Andor (Season 2), Lucasfilm for Disney+

• Stephen Coren, Mark Wellband, Fiona Stuart-Clark & Christian Stoica The Rig (Series 2), Wild Mercury Productions for Amazon Studios

Season 2 of Andor continues the show’s grounded visual style, relying on a mix of practical setups and digital work to support its locations and action sequences. A number of vendors contributed to the visual effects across the season, including Midas VFX, who delivered over 1700 final shots.

The RTS nomination follows a strong awards run for the series and marks another acknowledgement of the team’s work on the show’s second season.
