Marc Hutchings is a seasoned Visual Effects Supervisor with over 20 years of experience and more than 100 credits across feature films and high-end television. As Head of VFX at Midas, he leads the studio’s creative and technical direction, helping to deliver visually striking work on some of the industry’s most demanding productions.

Since launching Midas VFX in 2020, Marc has led the delivery of thousands of shots on major international productions. He brings together a deep technical background and strategic leadership, striking a balance between creative ambition and production efficiency to consistently deliver high-quality results—even under the most demanding timelines.

Working closely with directors, producers, and partner vendors, Marc is instrumental in shaping Midas’s creative direction. Recognised for his sharp eye, collaborative approach, and steady leadership, he continues to guide the studio’s growth and strengthen its reputation across the global VFX industry.

With an exceptional track record and VFX Supervisor credits on shows such as Star Wars: Andor, Jurassic World: Rebirth, The House of the Dragon, Lord of the Rings: Rings of Power, Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, Day of the Jackal, Thirteen Lives, Doctor Sleep, Top Boy, Bodyguard, The Alienist, Black Sails and Exodus: Gods and Kings to name a few.
